UF3 and Apophysis *** In addition to all the other dangers that Gandalf warned Bilbo, and later - Frodo, about, before entering the dark and dangerous Mirkwood Forest, there was also this stern warning about the exotic parasitic mirathancus plant found near the river crossing where Bilbo was warned to keep to the bridge and stay out of the dark, black water. Growing on tree trunks close to the river's edge and right next to the road, this plant beckons innocent little hobbits to come closer for just a whiff of its sweet hipnotic nectar. But woe to those who come too close and drink in it's intoxicating aroma! It renders the strongest of souls incapacitated and they'll fall into a deep sleep for longer than Rip Van Winkle can remember. No one knows how long a tiny little hobbit might slumber should they let their curiosity get the better of them! *** :)))...a storyteller I'm not, but thanks for stopping to have a look anyway. :)
