Yep, that's me...BIOHi there, my name is Martin Huisman and I live in the netherlands and I am 24 years old.
I recently finished my study biomedical research at the university of Rotterdam and now I'm working in the research field of kidney-transplantion problematics.
Totally different than CG art! :)
At the moment I only use Terragen and I recently downloaded the SOPack plugin, which I'm now exploring. For postwork I use PSP and PS8. But I am also not really experienced with it.
At the moment I mainly use Terragen and I'm desperately waiting for TG-2 (hurry up Matt).
I also love fiddling around with Photoshop and recently I've bought a wacom tablet, love it!
Are there other things you do? Yes I play soccer, 3 times a week :) I especially like the 3rd half of the game *lol*. And I love going to parties, or just have a drink with my friends.

Thats impressive!!! The most photo-realistic landscape Ive ever seen. Bravo!

excellent work, surface is very well done, fotorealistic! (only the surf is a little too strong)
Simplicity
Excellent work.

Excellent creation. You might consider doing the following for the surf: Reduce the density in 'SortaSurf' to a minimum. Reduce the surf reflectivity to a minimum; also play with the amount of frothiness - probably reduce it a bit. Now, using the 'shore foam' in TG, raise it to about 20% and see what happens. Sometimes I will raise this to 50% for the right effect...you need to experiment. Also consider increasing the water transparency a little. This will add to the surf effect.

Fantastic stuff there! Reminds me of part of the ending to the "Fanal Fantasy: The Spirits Within" movie! I wish they would release Terragen for Linux...one of the few Windows Apps I miss! Again...great stuff!

I don't really get the surf, either. :) Love the other water settings, though, as well as the fantastic surfacing job. EXC.

maybe the surf settings need an option set a prevailing wind direction or something...it looks realistic except that there is surf all along the coastline. very good colour work...says more "nature" than "terragen"

Superb surfaces!

Splendid picture and superb work ;) Bravo !!!

This is very pretty. The surf isn't that bad, either! Of course we all need to realize that surf doesn't happen on most lakes, but artistic license says we can use it. ;)
photostar
Agree with PatGoltz. Art shows the individual style in all of what we create. And only you know if somewhere on your terrain map the water leads to the ocean.
