Description

Came out more like a painting than a render, and I couldn't think of a good title. Suggestions? Comments? PW with GIMP and PSP5 deadwarrior

I really love those sky colours. nice pov also. sometimes having an image come out looking like a painting is desirable, it's all a personal choice. but if you're going for realism there is a lot of work involved...especially when it comes to water...you have to keep playing with different settings and sometimes lighting...also when it comes to terrains, the more layers you have, usually the better it looks...play with different height restrictions and slight shade variances for those layers too, makes it interesting sometimes. keep up the good work!

Surrealistic render to me...like the colors, especially in the atmosphere.

Gorgeous colors. I'm betting that you didn't use the highest resolution, which you set below the thumbnail window. Paintings are fine, so it really has to do with what you want to do.
