Description
Hello All!
Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm looking to get comments from anybody (especially my Lightwave homies) as to how to make this model look better. Keep in mind that in renders, it's supposed to be B I G.
All comments appreciated! Thanks!

Hmmm, can`t say much about Lightwave... May try some reflections from the lights. Realy good job, thanks! ~{o;)

Nice -- were the dishes modeled or transmapped? The easiest way to make something look BIG (aside from providing a figure for scale) is to reduce the camera's zoom factor. Try a focal length of 15mm and move the camera up low & close.

this looks cool would love to see it on top of a building with a sky bg ( you should turn all the lights off and just leave them as lens flares and set up a light system with a main light a fill light and a back fill light )

Hi! Yes the dishes were transmapped. The flares on the ends are eventually going to strobe on and off like the ones on radio towers. Also, since this is primarily going to be used at night, there are spotlights built into the dishes to give it highlights. Thanks all!

I dont use lightwave myself but think this image is great. One thing I think lets it down isthe blue background would look really good sat on a building roof with a sky & hills behind. The dish is really good though cheers.
