Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

It seems someone at the party was wearing a lampshade on his head. Now what that means is a deeper mystery. Is it city gas that prevents such things?

I hope that if I get attacked, they are all really really drunk on Heineken. Perhaps I could outrun them.

LOL, you go in UK, and you shot Dutch beer advertising... It remind me twenty years ago, when I was living during 3 years in A'Dam, I've work in the Heineken factory for pocket money ! I love the way you did this shot, the shadow gives a great vivid mood. V

Only Heinecken can do this ? What that means is a deeper mystery. Does it make people so crazy that they begin a war with only lamps as weapons. Or are this the massdestruction weapons Bush was searching in Irak? Or is it made just to get attention. OK got my attention. Very original.
