This image is a tribute to photostar who has helped me so much since i started not too long ago.
This is, i think, my best picture so far. It also took by far the longest.

Gee, I gave you some advice on understanding the number of people who view your work and you dedicate a pic to me. Thanks, man. Appreciate it, much. Remember, even if you only get one viewing, it's one person who saw the thumbnail and decided to take a second look at what you did. Not everyone on Renderosity is solely dedicated to Terragen. There are many different categories with many artists. Take some time when you get a chance and look at the different works in the many categories. Many are really great at what they do. Keep up the good work and don't let numbers discourage you. We all have to start sometime. As for this render, try and reduce the glare of the sun on the water. Let's see some different sun and light angles and a bit of layering. Good render and ask for help from the many masters of Terragen. They are always willing to glady help you.

Great sky, perhaps tone down the sun corona a bit and lighten shadows so we can see the terrain better. Also scale down the land a bit unless you were aiming for a fantasy image, then it's cool. This is better, keep up the good work. :)
