Description

I am 16 and have been interested in 3D modeling and animation since I saw Toy Story I think. Anyway, I recently received a student copy of MAX 6 and have made the transition from Carrara Studio. This BMW 3 Series is my first real project, and it is coming along so well I had to post it! I'm working on improving some things like the rims/lights/mirrors at the moment. Comments and ratings welcome.

Nice start. Your other pictures are awesome, i just keep looking at those sci-fi pics :). Although this doesnt really resample an M3, i like it. Especially the way you do it. Be sure to finish it, i would like to see this BMW painted :)

this car is modelled very good so far. but some vertices on the front bumper seem to be out of place. and on the edge over the left light its the same problem. I'm working on a car too: i am modelling an iso grifo race car with cinema 4d. and sometime those vertices can drive you crazy.most time you are correcting the positions of the vertices so that the whole object looks smooth. i really know how hard it is too model a car. keep it up!!!:-)
