Description

Think of Rock & Roll, the Beach Boys, surfing, the beach, bikinis, hamburgers, hot dogs, soda pop, milk shakes and fun times... This is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird (affectionately referred to as a T-Bird). Photo was taken at a local show & shine in July 2004...

Okayhow much did the photographer have to pay the hop to park it between two parking spaces, and right next to the GRATE (complimentary, and useful for reflective purposes) yellow stripe, hehe.

Beautiful! My cousin had one of these. It was a 1956 black with white top. She had it in 1961 when they were still an attention getter. She drove it like a maniac. I remember her driving scared me to death! But I still love them! ;o)

The Arthur Murray dance teacher got a new white Thunderbird each year. The red one I saw belonged to the owner of the Fleetwing gas and heating oil distributor who also got a new one each of the three years two seaters were offered. Since both were women the skirts go without saying, but the wire wheels speak of a savvy owner to keep out the squeek. You've given it a coral look that surpasses ordinary red.
