Description
This was one day I wished I had a telescopic lens. Surprisingly, this nest was in a neighbors yard and the bees are left to do as they may.Thanx to all of you who take time to view.

Phantastic ! I didn't see such a wild bees nest before. What is that white-grey material they use to cover the nest? Is it a kind of silk, or is it made of leaves?

This is a hornets nest, a type of wasp. The paper used to build the nest is pulp they make from plants and wood. It is incredibly light.
