Description

Hi, I'm Chris and this is my first upload into the MAX gallery, my previous images were done in trueSpace. Any comments or crits welcome, although I was quite happy with the way this image turned out, I still feel it doesn't look realistic enough, anyone have any tips to make this look more lifelike? Thanks in advance.

Excellent image.. the only thing I could suggest is to "dirty" things up a bit... Everything is to showroom clean.. I make the same error in almost every pic :)

Nice pic dude, for your first one... I can only give you one tip : "is that your desktop in real life, buy a bigger one!!" =) Keep up the good work.

Nice work! Are you from England?I'm looking at the wall plug...not an American outlet. ;-) My suggestion would be to work on lighting. Do you have the ambient light on (value of 1.0)? You might want to dial that down to around 0.1 and play with your other lighting sources to get some better definition.

Great work. I think that a photo-realistic texture for the keyboard would be really cool. Good work.

Sorry, I'm wondering about your keyboard! Above the Keypad (Numberpad?)..are there really four keys available??? On mine, there are only three lights?!?! Agree to the lighting thing. But still...good work!

very good for a first max project. for some reason the keyboard to seams to ruin the illusion. its needs to have some grime on it and a better texture. for lighting you will need to look at radiosity or reflected light from objects to brighten some of those dark shadows. the curled pages on the books was an excellent touch

dissed??? what are you on? :-) this image is not a ten or what ever you believe! you should open your eyes and look on some other images in this gallerie and you will see that your images only average, and thats nothing bad because you are a beginner! but this image deserves nothing more then a 7. what shall i give a really good artist when i give you a ten. rating becomes useless if i must give anyone a ten. you tell me that you are 15 years old, but you behave like a 10 year old kid. i dont steal your toys, i only RATE your pictures with my TRUE opinion. and my opinions are, that the textures are not good and the shadows must be improved. and how can i say something good when i see nothing really good? make better images and i say something good. but i dont say "wow great" only to be polite. if you cant stand the critics, then dont post your images here!! its that easy.....
