My first attempt at anything digital. Done entirely in Photoshop 7.

Woo, the eyes! Commenting here because I can :) Whoops, I was about to ask if you start with a scanned pencil sketch, then actually read the description... The edges have something of that look. Actually, what gives quite an interesting effect is the shadow of the bedpost against the wall, combined with the white edging line. It looks a bit like the bed is one flat piece in 3D space, a bit like those little cardboard stages you could buy in sets with scenery. Of course, probably not what you were going for, but hey! I need to get off my arse and actually finish some pieces...
