Description

Yeap. Did the Full body version for the publishers. In a bit of a rush to get it done so I didn't bother trying to make the Bones look like they were coming out of his skin this time. Same stuff as before. I basically Lucked out with the face. I thought for sure I wouldn't get as close to the original as I did. But I'm still not satisfied with it. But it'll have to do. I was originally going to have him standing and looking back at his out stretched wings. My hard Drive didn't have the space for it. So I went with this pose instead. A background is not needed for the puplishers. But If anyone here wants to try it, then bo ahead. Just let me know when done. ------------------- Tips for digital painting. - NEVER use your brush at full level. Always keep them with a large transparentcy. Halfway should do. Unless of course you are just doing flats. -Paint the eyes seperate from the face. If you don't you'll wish you had later. -Same with hair and the head. -Want to draw a line or curve but having trouble because you are using a mouse? Then do what I do. Make a decent size spot in the area that you want the line. Then use the Smudge tool to streatch and create the line. The Smudge tool is your friend in Digital painting. If you have any questions, Note me, and I'll try to help. ------------ I didn't use Sara's Blood brushes this time. sorry Sara. I stuck with the standards until I came to the hair. Then I used the Grass tool. The 1st Painting became my refeance for the face. And I posed infront of a mirror to get the porportions and all right. That means, Dan was not a referance this time.

Thanks, Fogge. :) InfernalCow, Thanks. Yeah, I ran out of time. The puplishers needed it whether it was finished or not. I've already fixed the bone issue. I basically stretched the skin over the bones partly and added more shadows and lighting to them. The look MUCH more natural now compared to the one I posted above.GreenSat, I've been practicing on a protrait of myself for the last 4 months. It's till not finished. But I learned a LOT since then. And realistic painting has gotten a LOT easier since. I'm still FAR from the realisum that I want to be. But I'm getting there. I'm plaining to paint MONK realisticly. That'll be a site to see. :) ShadowWind, Thanks, and Welcome. I have a few others that I've discovered if you want them.
