Very good texturing, indeed, I had better results blurring the image with distance mask thingie than with Bryce, it's soooo less demanding on rendering time, little bit more bumps and reflection on the sphere would make this very nice rendering even better (in my opinion)...Anyways, like I said, looks very good, and looking forward to see more from you, good luck !!!

I really like it. I wouldnt have made both the background and foreground blurry but Thats just a minor thing. The image looks really good. Excellent work.

great idea, although you might need to reconsider those textures, as they're either a bit out of scale or just a bit unrealistic. all the same, interesting study :)

Not so sure I would mix the woodgrain with this center image.Seems to make a contrast between surealism and realism.

oooooh the above are too harsh, It is great to mix textures I think, I fully understand the point they are making though. I like the wood as a background, the modelling in the middle is wonderful. I love your textures generally! You have a wonderful eye for composition!
