Description

I hope third time lucky! Sorry folks I goffed up again, in my efforts to edit the image I deleted it and all the comments. I hope you will understand, and comment again. I could not have the good ship Lady Gracia taking on water:-)) Ship model by Alain Gracia, close gull by Rick Shoop, other gulls from Poser Freestuff, suggested by Sharon, Man from 3D Cafe's free stuff. Your having a look is appreciated. Thanks to all who let me know the ship was taking on water. Created in Vue 4.22 Stay healthy, deevee, Joe.

I love your work, but I would really like to encourage you to branch out on your subject matter a bit more. Do some city scapes, some landscapes, etc. You have a powerful talent but I feel like you have been limiting yourself way too much. You're one of my favorite artists, but sometimes, when I get the notice of a new posting, I wonder if I really want to view another ship-gull-palmtree-island-water picture. Please don't take this as a negative view toward what you do, but rather, as I said, an encouragement to risk trying some new things. I really love the water in this one, and how to you get those great ship wakes? I'd really like to know.

Great image but being a sailor I gotta tell ya you need someone at the helm in a close up of a ship under sail. It would extend the realism and believablity of the picture. Love the water and the beach.

Thanks to all who commented, they are appreciated. REG the helm is out of view so the helmswoman was out of view:-)) I get your point though. I am a sailor also for about 60 years!!

That beach is simply stunning Joe, I love the bright sunshine and the figure on the beach brings a very acurate 'scale' to it all. Very well done!
