Description
This image was modeled, textured and rendered in Animation Master. The three women are the Hesperides, from Classical Greek mythology. I modeled these women as part of a larger project to reconstruct the sculpture of the east pediment of the Parthenon for an author, Robert Bowie Johnson Jr, who has written a very original theory on Greek history and religion. The book is called "The Parthenon Code" theparthenoncode.com. You can see the entire reconstruction of the east pediment, as well as a brief description of the Greek statues' Biblical (Genesis) counterparts in the Flash presentation here http://www.holmesbryant.com/east_ped

Nice work. Thanks for sharing. Interesting ideas presented on the web site. I wonder how Asherah plays into this assessment, as Asherah is the older story by far.
