Description

The sound of Elizabeth's heels knocking against the broken concrete seemed to get louder with each step. The wind chill was sharp, the street lights dim. She'd got off the shuttle bus two stops earlier than she should've done, a good half a mile from her home in the more secure seventh sector, she'd considered waiting for another shuttle bus, but with it being late night one wouldn't be due for a good half hour, fifth sector wasn't the place to hang around. As she walked along teh streets, she began to get gazes from the people still around. The night owls too drunk or high to go home, or worse, the wolves of the night waiting for somebody out of place to pass by.
