the scenery was breath taking but what I liked most was the silence and clear deep blue skys, not the normal grey haze that many of us has to live with.

Yep, it's blue! Yep, it's a sky! lol q-: Really love that gorgeous blue sky, and the rock formation is just unbelievably wonderful. Makes a person want to climb it...but then there are probably snakes 'n' bugs. Eeew! Oh well. Wonderful photo. Love it! V (:

Wow! Incredible shot! I know what you mean about the sky - this one is SO blue. The closest thing we get in Florida to any sort of mountain is when they pile up a bunch of fill dirt prior to building yet another condo...

Very beautiful! One of the things I love most about this landscape is the way the orange rock contrasts with the blue sky. I took a trip this weekend to the back side of Zion. A place called Kolob. I will start posting some shots this evening.
