Description

I'm mad for sitting behind my computer (beautiful weather outside), but I don't want to miss my chance of uploading for today, so here are "Long Summer" & "Long Summer Part II". To be honest: I screwed up on part I. Picture is underexposed on the male figure. It was the only shot I could take before he noticed me. I know: Ask permission first, but then the picture would never have been the same. So Part I had some Photoshop-treatment to make the best out of it. As far as lightning is concerned Part II is better. Why I post it? I like people to look normal on a picture. Except from Tedz (sorry couldn't resist) I thing everybody does. But that's not as easy as it sounds, I think. Therefor I'm pleased with both pics because you can tell by the relaxed poses that the man knows what his faith for tomorrow and the day after and the day after etc., etc. .....is. Thanks for viewing and your comments! Eddy.

Sometimes, you better don't ask for permission if you want the subject to be natural...Your shots are both beautiful

Wonderful shots... I don't think the face is too badly lost in shadows... both very fine candid shots.... you could try a very small amount of dodging around the face in PS if it really bothers you.

narrative shots, from life itself. also think that better to not ask permission, to get most natural result, youve done excellent work!

Both shots are gorgeous worth to post them seperately! Maybe a bit of brightening his face in the top one? The second one is perfect as it is!
