Reminds me on my vacation in france many years ago.
There is a path on teh left side to get on the top of this Aqueduct. I was there and saw the waterchannel which is dry now of course. .
But the channel has aproximately 30 cm coating of lime deposit caused by the flow of lime containing water during several centuries. Amazing how long those ancient buildings last..
My water pipe broke after only 10 years :-) excellent picture!
