Description
... insects! We in Germany call them "Sonnentau", means "sundew" (Drosea)and they're rarly. They live in swampland, where the grond doesn't contain very much minerals. To survive, they can get them by catching ("eating") insects. They trap them with glittering drops on the red tentacles on their leafs. One of these plants show a tiny white flower.
Tomorrow I will show a detailpic of one of these leafs.
This picture was taken in a wildlife refuge close to the "Steinhuder Meer/Lake Steinhude" close to Hannover, North Germany

These eating plants are wonderful! They're rare here too, very small plants with very small flowers, but in detail very beautiful! Sundew, that's the name because it seems there are fresh droplets on the leaves, but oho, these are sticky balls, once touched an insect cannot fly away anymore! Fascinating shot, Reinhard!
