Description

Xenodream, no pp, PS6 for frame Hi Linda (and all interested in XD), for the image of yesterday i didn't use the depth window. Here is how it was done. First created a nice flamelike fractal with 3 holons and some gnarl. I rendered with an opacity of 20, (to have an idea of how it is going to look, put on the transparency preview). Gave it a long render and then created a relief-like lighting. Applied that lighting, wich gave me the left image. Copy/merged that as a background. Then went back to the lighting panel and used my lighting settings i developed for transparency. That became the right image. Applied that one and then used the layer function with an amount of *difference* to create yesterdays image. The layer function might be just a one way process (there is no *undo*, but combined with your colouring panel and that awesome lighting panel, you can achieve pretty much all the colour effects you'll ever need. Hope this helped ;-) Dirk
