first i wanted to do something different today but then i just had to render this one ;-) ~enjoy~ terrain made by the worldmachine and me. thanks a lot to martinjbirk for his explanations about wm! thanks to Fil for the "Beach Maker" macro! tfv&c! :-)

Wundersche Cloudscape ! Und dieses feine Inselchen in der Mitte kommt super zur Geltung und lst trotzdem den Blick frei f einen atemlosen weiten PoV mit unglaublicher Tiefe ! Die Stimmung ist einfach zum ohnmhtig werden ... ;) Excellent !

Lady hat schon fast alles geschrieben! Unwahrscheinlicher POV,die Wolken finde ich ganz toll und das Wasser ist genial! Einzig das flache Land vorn ist nicht nach meinem Geschmack,gibt aber der tollen Stimmung des Bildes keinen Abbruch!

Those clouds look as if they have been built up in a watercolour, they have such fantastic colouration on the layers. Using dark surfaces like that on the land and using grey hued colours gives the impression of a etching or fine woodblock print. The composition is perfectly balanced and the whole visual statement made with only the most necessary of items. It looks like your short visit to the Baltic Sea really informed your water rendering, it is just so real. If Hokusai lived in Northern Europe he could have done this image already, but probably not better than you have.
