Very nice scene. I like. A little too dark though, Your figure needs a backlight contrast him/her/it from the background. Try a simple three light-setup. Key/fill/back. The exploding bits all look very polygonal (a drawback of the explosion tool in C4D). However, if you apply a texture to them using a custom alpha map you can get away from that. Also adding a mild glow to them enhances the look of an explosion going on. One last thing. Why is it blowing up like that? How about a bg nasty laser beam going right into the back of it? :) Bravo.
