Description

During the first half of the 20th century vernacular architecture was very popular. Buildings shaped like hotdogs, donuts, dinosaurs and even cream cans were popular roadside attractions. In this image, I tried to recapture the feel of that time... Model Credits: Model T (Dreamcatcher) Michael and distant barn (Daz) Model T and Barn Maps and everything else (Me)

Very "classic" looking. I've seen in some places the trend for that sort of architecture hasn't completely died. Very nice picture amd models, Ken, and well-done. :)

Wow - what a scene! Your models are spectacular and the textures on that "can" are fabulous! Also a lovely feeling of the era.

Interesting concept. It would be more convincing an image if you could make the building appear more weathered and worn. Everything looks too new and shiny to have been out in the country side for any length of time. A little tree sap and bird poop would be a good start along with the effects of rain and wind.

Thanks for the comments. Qarl: While I tried to give a relatively "new" appearance to the building in this image, I'm currently working on an aged series of textures and hmmm,... that might make an interesting series-- same scene elements as seen through several decades...
