I've been into digital art since 7th grade, when I got a Mac Quadra 800 and found a copy of Photoshop 4 in the trash, recovered it and started messing around with it. Since then, I've discovered more tools to add to my arsenal, and have enjoyed almost every step of the way from then to now. Though I haven't really done a stellar job in science classes, especially subjects like physics, I've found science and sci-fi to be great sources of inspiration for my work. I would often watch the science and sci-fi channels for a while just to get even the smallest sliver of an idea, and let my mind go wild with it.

I have a gallery of my own called Nightwatch Productions. I also have some of my work for sale as prints on Deviant Art. Check them out.

excellent terrain and a great surface map. The snow line could do with varying a bit more by tweaking the limiters but apart from that its a very fine image :-)

What Rids means (I think) is set the height limit lower on the snow (less altitude) and increase fuzzy setting. This way, the snow doesn't stop at such a horizontal or linear manner. Your surfaces are getting better and the pov is just right here. Kudos for sticking with it.

Altitude constraint is a bit sharp, could be more fuzziness.. good layers, but give more scale depth and less bumpiness to snow layers

Agree with the above re snowline - the snow's distribution is nice, but the min height settings need more fuzziness. Try several snow layers with varing min heights and min height fuzziness...
