Description

After a very long time without touching my Vue d'Esprit, nor visiting the forums, I get back with a little picture. It was originally a wallpaper for a gaming project I was involved in. But, as the project will soon die, or will continue without me, I wanted some people can see it. So, here it is :-) Final render is done with vue and there's no additional touch to it Note : the cathedral in the background is the one by Rodluc2001

very nice image....one that invites a story to be told.... i especially like what you've done with the backlit lighting and how starkly the figure is set against it...very bold negative area in the composition! that and the "window" contrast nicely with the soft color and shadows of the background. the only thing that i might suggest is that the figure direction faces right and out of the pic...possibly reversing it in the same place to face left would keep the eye traveling back into the pic more naturally. just a suggestion, i don't know the context so your composition may be perfectly appropriate for your story. very nice though, i like it...thanx for popsting it.

Fantastic. I love the mood and the composition with the object in the foreground. A pity that the project died, but great for us to see this picture. :)) Excellent work.

Thanks for your kind comments. I remember how great was that community, and I see that new pictures are still warmly welcomed. Originally, this picture was supposed to work with another one that I've started... I'll maybe work on it later. That's the reason for the setting of the character, Stellrazer. BGHart, I'm now working on another one of my own... there are chances for some pictures come for it. In fact, if you go look at my gallery, there's already a first one. Atwistedperson, I'm sorry to disappoint you. ;-) But, funilly, the second picture was supposed to have a tentacle.
