Description

Without Arend's eye for detail and his sense of perfection, I would not be the Fractalist that I am today... Fortunately I am not with every image in the hot 20, nor will I ever be, for I know my images need time to be viewed, and contemplated and are not the "easiest" around... Arend has told me over and over again to be not satisfied too soon, and I sometimes had to swallow my pride! But he is always honest, and has been my friend for years....So this image is for you, Arend, it took me a long time to nail it down exactly as it is now... Thank you for your support, and criticism over the past years!!!! Eveline

it looks to me that you heeded his advice... perfection I see in this fractal, perfection that Arend is still trying to teach me.. Ever heard of doctors with bad bedside manners... but they are great doctors and heal people?...Arend is a great teacher, just like that and how we like his teaching depends on how much and how fast we want to learn.. Hug for you Eveline to remind us..

A wonderful tribute to Arend. Yes, he is a superb fractal artist. This is a very dynamic spiral image with bright and bold coloring. You have your own particular style and it is always thrilling for me to see your fractals.

One reason I like your images so much, Eveline- because they're "not the easiest around." You've such a great sense of color and perspective. This one is another piece of eye-candy for me- fresh and fantastic design with a bold and beautiful color mix.
