Description

BrasilGirl2004 most likely know this story better than me. This is for her An indian came to the medice man and ask him to change him into the most meanest thing in the jungle. So the witch doctor change him into a big snake. a few months goes by and the snake came to the witch doctor and say to change him into a black panther. So the witch doctor did just that and the man was happy to be a black panther for some time. then one day the witch doctor sees the black panther he changed. The witch doctor ask if he was happy and the black panther man say 'no'; and the witch doctor say ' I change you into the most meanest creature in the jungle did I not?' and the black panther say "no' I find something more meaner and deadly; and I want you to change me into it." "What", say the puzzied witch doctor. And the black panther said, " in to a spainiard" this is an old story dates back to the 1500's I guess. it shows how the Indians did not like the Spainards

Wow, this is a great story, I've never heard it before! BrasilGirl must be really happy. Great picture too, that jungle is really dense and the creatures, including the spainiard, are just barely hiding in it. Terrific work!

After some time the Spaniard comes to the witch doctor, and says: "All right, this is satisfactory, even in the high mountains of the Inca and with horses, but the Portuguese outsmarted us in Brazil."

The witch doctor smiles and says, "Ah, I get itnow you want me to turn you into a Portuguese. Excellent choice."

"No,", says the erstwhile Spaniard,"I have an even better idea than that."

"And what might that be," asks the witch doctor.

"Turn me into a witch doctor. Then I can be whatever I wish...."

Here in New Mexico, USA, the people of the north relate more to the Spaniards than the Mexicans. In Los Angeles, California, where I was born and raised, the Mexican-Americans thought of the Spaniards as the men who raped their homeland. I know I am a mixture of the two because there are hardly any pure Mexican Indians left. I loved this story and your render! Hugs ~ Sue
