3d, photography, and writing BIOI was schooled in photography, back when they used something called "film" and chemicals! I've since gone digital. Later in life, I took up videography, and needed the ability to add graphics and titles to the tapes (another primitive technology). I bought an Amiga and a "genlock" - and the salesman convinced me to buy a 3d program called Imagine. Within 24 sleepless hours, I was hooked on 3d. As for writing,
that was a survival technique. Now, I like to combine images and prose. Most often, they do not form simultaneously.

The glass effect is excellent. But I think you should work on the edge of the frame : maybe add a small bevel or a texture to lighten the dark shadow.

Brilliant work on the windows and your treatment of the view through them ... most intriguing! Bravo!

Very fine, and i do like the 'humanly positioned' diamonds...give a nice real effect, but the frame needs work...so much work on the glass and little on the frame does not show proper respect fot the glass, and in fact brings the over all render down a touch....but maybe that's just me on a foggy grumpy monday morning...I do love it tho...fine work..is that a map used to tex the frame...if so maybe a higher res map would make me happy, and maybe sub group the frame so you can get the texture map to apply correctly on all surfaces...seems to stretch on the flat portions of the window frame...

This render was listed under "modeling." It is not meant to be finished art. The wall was thrown together in 3 minutes to give the windows a place to sit, lol. Sorry, but with my very limited time, I frequently post "roughs." But, thanks to all for noticing - it does prove you are actually LOOKING ! (and I really do appreciate that!)
