Description

Not sure how much this looks like a Highland Brae (and I'm not even sure what a Brae is!). The interesting thing is the different water levels made with 4 renders with differing water settings then combined with Photoshop layers. Whilst not exactly showing waterfalls it does illustrate the principle. The terrain was made by inverting a .ter of real world landscape, tweaking the vertical height and adding water. Hope you enjoy. All comments welcome

I like it very much - especially the "clean" feel of the air from the light blue.

Beautiful work! I like the snow on the heights, fairly accurate, even for most of the year. Temps in the highlands are rarely "warm" no matter what time of year it is. hugs Wylder

Great work with the Water levels trick! I like the appearance of flow towards the lowest body of water. Natural terrain flows, and you are using good ingenuity to create that effect. Cheers!
