Yeah, Go Surrealism! Interested to see more in this world. I don't think the trees are doing you any favors in this composition.

Interesting piece.....leave the trees where they are....but drop their roots into the ground more.

honestly I think you are so focused on figuring out what is going on with the face you don't notice the trees. then when you do it seems fitting somehow that they're not properly seated. The overall effect is captivating I think. You have to pull your eyes away from the look on her face to notice the small details. yeah I can't wait to hear what her story is

look like trees here in Louisiana when the swamp is low you see trees with the brandes and leaves just like that; cool image
