Description

Final version of this image - I hope, because it makes my processor groan in pain :-) Everything built in Bryce except the tiny white flowers. Original concept based on a photo I saw here by Polyphilo.

This is very beautiful. I really like the lighting, the shadows and the POV. But I have two quick questions: 1. Where are the tiny white flowers? and 2. When are you going to do a tutorial? ;)

Thanks for all your comments - glad you liked it :-) Preston: The little white flowers are in the urn on top of the balustrade - they are seperate from the green leaves (a palm tree with an invisible trunk) also in the urn. A lighting tutorial can be found at http://www.bryceanworlds.com/pages/simulated_radiosity.html although I actually used 3 semidomes. One semidome of light was used to add light underneath the balustrade to stop it looking too dark. Btw. a version of my urn can be downloaded from http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~rodv/stuff/urn.zip Thanks again.........androoooooooooooo

This is a very realistic render...almost photographic! The foliage is excellent, as is the light and shadow. Fantastic image!!!
