Description

URL of part 1: 'In the LaundryRoom-part 1' The first part was my #2 image of my series of magic moments of technology. And then there weren't any more magic moments... I found out that probably technology hates me :).... So.... I would like to place this image as #32 into my Family album As I already told you once I was sharing an apartment with Rosy. I already told you also that we shared the daily chores too. And I also mentioned that she didn't like to do the laundry and I didn't like to clean up. So I used to go to do the laundry in the laundry room that was in the basement. One day, as I have done so many times, made a laundry date with Roger. Just some moments after Roger turned on his washing machine... he fell asleep. I liked to see him sleeping... he was so peaceful and beautiful while casually leaned to one of the closets of the laundry room. But after some time that I had my pleasure of watching him while he was sleeping... I got bored. There were newspapers scattered at the floor. I picked up the latest NeighborHoodHerald. As I was perusing the newspaper a small news caught my eyes. At the moment I saw that news I knew that I have to show it my friend -- Kevin. I folded carefully the paper and put it into my washing basket, wrote a message to Roger... in which I asked him to take care of my laundry, and took the elevator to my apartment. While opening the door I heard the phone ringing. I entered the room, rushed to the phone -- and it was Kevin. I told him I just wanted to call him because I have something to tell him... that I know he would like to hear. He told me that he has no time to listen to me he is in a hurry to an important meeting. He told me also that he would like that I be there also. He meant -- he would like I take part at the meeting in order to help him out. He didn't give me any detail -- just asked me to go downstairs because he was calling me from the lobby and he is waiting for me there. On the way to the meeting place he told me why he wanted me to help him out. He was going to try to get a project... but although he generally gets the job from this company... this time he had the feeling that this time he has a competitor. He wanted me to be next to him... just to be there to by his side. To hold his hand... to calm him down... in order to show up as a really professional person. I told him, that this time I can do for him more than holding his hand. And show him the NeighborHoodHerald. As I was expected he was very happy to see what he saw. At the meeting the guy who was supposed to give Kevin the project was talking about how he appreciate Kevin and how much he is happy that Kevin working for him... and he would never work with anybody else besides Kevin... but this time his business doesn't go so well... so he would like that Kevin take the project for a much much lower some than generally he does. After listening politely to the guy for some moments Kevin told the guy: Harold... it is really a pleasure to listen to your praises... but please tell me ... what Gary told to you... How much he does want for this project? The guy's face turned white... than red and angrily asked Kevin: 'Are you spying after me?' 'Why would I do that?' - Kevin said and handed him the newspaper that I brought from the laundry room. There was a small article at the newspaper that one of the neighborhood artists - that his name was Gary - is negotiating for a big project at the guy's Company. products credits: [see part 1
