Coming from a long line of NH craftsmen, I have always been interested in all forms of hand crafts. In later years I became a ceramic instructor and still have my own kiln. I became interested in digital art and Poser as an outgrowth of 2D computer art which I took up when arthritis set into my hands and I could no longer satisfactorly work with clay or safely use carving tools. I work hard at trying to keep my characters realistic looking as I am not very interested in the cartoon genre.

I grew up in New Hampshire and currently live in Maine. My daughter lives in the Pine Tree State (Maine) also, and I have a grandaughter that is attending college in Tallahassee, Fl.
I am very interested in Amateur (Ham) Radio, hold an extra class license, and enjoying talking with other Hams in different countries. I also enjoy playing golf and going fishing, however, health problems have greatly curtailed these activities.

I love the theme, very romantic, but please forgive me for this small gripe. The female fairy looks great. Very natural, classic and sexy because of what she's wearing, which isn't much. So why is the male fairy covered from neck to ankle? Bad enough you don't see male fairies that often, which is why it bugs me that he looks like he's wearing a green jumpsuit (maybe you were tying to go for a formal-wear type of look?). Still, why can't he be as natual/sexy looking as the woman? I have to say though, I LOVE his wings. Again, forgive my silly rant. This is still a great image. Keep up the great work, and thanks.

I originally did this render to promote our Faerie Ball Contest on our site "FaerieTop". The original concept was to depict the fact that the members could dress their faeries in whatever finery they wished. Clothes, flowers, leaves etc. If you enjoy faeries I invite you to visit our site www.faerietop.com The contest runs through Sept.20th, so if you would like, register (its free) and post an image. Fantastic color. Great costumes. Her pose is almost impossiblely twisted. Still I love it.
