Cool concept markostimpy. I have some suggestions for improvement though. Most importantly: use a terrain instead of a plane. Also: put some debris low in the air around the meteor impacts.

I like the vastness of the image. I think that the image could use a bit more... maybe make the explosions closer to the tree, add some volumetric fog/smoke, a tilted perspective and some high contrast lighting, then you'd have something dramating / amazing.
