Description
Another exercise - this time to test our knowledge (err, better said speed) in intersecting geometrical bodies.:) we had to intersect a cylinder and a right hexagonal prism (i hope i got the names right...) each with another two cylinders,then cut the resulting two bodies in half in whatever fashion we liked and arrange them in a composition :) i didn't venture for a perspective view, because i'm yet too slow to do descriptive in perspective, but i hope the result is ok :) Thank u for viewing. [yes, I guess you got the names right!:)] It looks excellent for me - and I guess that you have to draw it for yourself to understand this!!! And I've took some drawings like this, too - but I'm not as good as you...Hugs

It's always a treat to see a very well done technical drawing amidst all the computer art here. It's reassuring to know that despite the advances in technology, nothing beats learning your craft by doing things hands-on. :o)

That's what I loved the most when I was studying: grid! All these helping lines of perspective can make the simplest object look like some grand project! Very nice sketch!
