I have been playing with Poser5 for about a year now. I still don't have the resources to create my own original models, textures, etc. but so far I have learned to modify existing ones.BIOMy artistic development started with sketching, and gradually branched out to other media, from paint, to sculpture, to digital. Currently I do alot of my artwork in Adobe Illustrator. I haven't completely mastered the program yet but I know enough to get around what I don't know.
I use two styles, one I'd describe as "abbreviated realism" and the other is more manga/anime inspired. I prefer fantastic subjects over the mundane, and most of my works appear illustrative as I have never had much luck with detailed backgrounds.

I really like the texturing and lighting on this, he definitly doesn't have that poser look, he's got a very natural expression and relaxed pose. I see what you mean about the wisps, if you're not anti-postwork you could maybe touch them up that way

This is wonderful! The POV is outstanding. He does looks very relaxed and the wisp's spots weren't really evident until you pointed them out. Peaceful image with great lighting!

Hey this is really cool, the mil dragon really sets this off but that guy you did up in black is awesome. Hey saw the mill dragon tonight in the movie on the sci-fi channel called Dragon Fighter. They had him with a near black texture he looked great.
