Description

Hi all, My first Maya post. This was just a texturing excercise for my class at the art institute. Obviously not an amazing modeling feat or anything but the assignment was to model and texture an old suitcase/briefcase using layered shaders/textures. Just wanted some feedback on what you guys thought of it. all textures were handpainted (except for decals and wood floor). techinical stuff: software: Maya 5.0 render: Maya software w/ DOF Post process: PS7 time: modeled and textured in 4-5 hours appreciate any comments/criticism

Wow, thats awsome! I suck at texturing, so Im really impressed with your work cause I know how hard it is. One small thing though: the locks should stand out a little bit more. Now they kind of melt together with the rest of the suitcase.....long reply I must stop here.

That looks very nice! I especially like the leather texture.
