I'm back from my roadtrip to California with a few new pictures. But first, I think I'll show you another from my trip to the UK. This picture was taken at Madingly Hall in Cambridge. This beautiful poem captures their essence: Orange Lilies We fault them for nodding everywhere, tautological. Alternate during a day they pucker and grin. They open hot, like summer itself. With buttercups and spikes of goldenrod they talk down the sun to us, let us taste the brightness in all these seasons when frost or snow cannot sparkle.
