Description

Here is another in two tone...B/W for you all. I loved the silvery finish that I got here. Ofcourse the Misa technique has been used to a great extent in this one but I made alteration as per the originl image light etc. There is a story behind this frame. I added it to allow the entry of this image under Color category as the image as such was being put under B/w. The frame ensured that. All post work done in PSP9 Beta Version including Frame (with slight modification.) :O)) Thanks to you all for bearing with my new experiments and I request you all to be more critical and honest please, not just polite. I think I am prepared to bear the brunt now. SNAKEY

Looks like a very excellent chalk drawing..,. the curling of the petals and the curved sepals stand out for me. Experiment!!! It's your gallery!

Ok, if you want us to be honest.....I hate you because your work ALWAYS looks good! I dont really hate you ok lol...But I think your experimentation has paid off, the B+W really suits the lilly. Amazing as always =)

Was afraid you were going for silver only.... :) But how can we be more critical and honest? Hmmm.... thinking Your experiments are just so interesting, how can we be critical? That this shot is little overexposed? No, that just intentionally and it works great. So? Sorry, it's just excellent, can't make less of it! :)

This is a lovely approach. I have never seen it in silver before and it would go so nicely hanging in a room with black and silver decorations. You are so clever and brave to try this. However, I do miss the color of the amarylis since it is a bold color. :0)

If your willing to put up with my nitpicking I'm happy to give it to you straight, as long as you don't take it too seriously, as most of what I spew is only my opinion, or how I would do things were it my image....... This I like! Beautiful silvery tones, I think some of the highlights are a little burnt out, but this does not take away from the superb job you did! Really wonderful!

I think the silvery tone brings out the details and the BRIGHTNESS of the flower. I like the uniqueness. I always prefer color, but I like to see you branching out and trying new artistic styles.

i like the silvery sheen too... & luv seeing you stretch your creativity!... the more you do & practice with the tools, the better you get... the frame looks fine to me for a two tone look... my only gripe would be to take a little more care with the black where the petals meet up :] keep it up raj!
