Description

This old Family Cemetery as near as I can tell contains 12 graves, Seven of the graves are all from one family, children and one adult. All died of Yellow fever in 1872 one was a very young child less than a year old. The five other graves all died in different years. There are two graves of civil war confederate veterns, and I have taken a photo of the one I thought you could read as it seems to be in the best condition. The cemetery is now in the middle of a subdivision. (So much for progress)

I love the contrast. new and old. can you imagine what old Thomas Sweatman would think of his tombstone being shown around the world?
