apophysis flame and photoshop postwork hello to you . this is the 6th installation of the a.l.f. series. I have submitted the flames to the fractal free stuff , they are pending somebody asked me how I get these images into 1 pic and the answer is I create a blank image around 3000 pixels high by 1000 pixels wide in photoshop - paste each render into the new template (blank image) merge the layers then save optimised for web. there are other postwork techniques that I have used though..... involving rendering the same flame with the gradient slightly shifted and then composite the two layers with the top layer having a transparancy layer [lighten is good] my trick for the psychedelic illuminations is an opposing layer with a 50 perecent transparancy set on [difference layer]. the original image above was 20.3 mb optimised to 403kb so thats around 20 percent of the original quality - hence the pixelization. I hope that helped.

Awesome set of flames! And thanks for the PS tips. I've just recently started playing with merged layers - they're a lot like the ones in UF. Well did!
