I gotta say I like it. As artists we tend to think "the more difficult an image is to make, the better it is." In my opinion, that is rarely the case. This work is visually pleasing, and does remind me of a flower. Glad you posted it!

Thanks loneglyph. For the most part I agree with you (there is more to an image than the difficulty level.) I'm a greedy artist and want to have technically difficult AND artistically pleasing. :)

excellent...that obvious filter actually looks awseome...stained glass window, or something...cant remember...love the name of the peice as well...people talk of the "Chrysanthemum" as what they have to pass through when on DMT
