Description

AOI Astaroth submachinegun. The design is my much older AOI Baphomet submachinegun, massively reworked and modernised. I was sitting on this mesh for some time now and finally decided to post a render of it, since I already had the framesetting done with minor rearrangement. ^_^ Hope you like it. ;)

AWESOME SMG! Has a real FN-style feel to it, like the P90. I like it!

Great work as usual :) The Astaroth is IMO a great modell, and btw. I don't thin it has much of a FN-style ;) Oh, and I like the shadow from the bottle of water.

bah, praise the baph. No more rebell scum... or so. Nice, but the baph is more 'my' kind of AOI MP.

Fantastic modeling! Definitely has a strong Shirow influence to it, yet still original. I like the play of the lighting through the bottle of water, but I do think that your wood texture could be tweaked.

Yes, I dont like the wood either and it is definately right that the AOI Astaroth is influenced by shirows seburo C-25a and FNs FN P90. The C-25a was perhaps the strongest influence since I really liked the magazine design and wanted to know if it could be done with cased ammo as well as caseless ammo as it is in shirows design. Since the magazine is fully functional with spring driver and ammo socket, I can say that it works and that it is even animation proof. Thanks for the feedback so far. I will work on that wood. ;P
