Nice looking field of grass, reminds me a little of the movie "Signs". I do think you should loose the stars though. Other than that, great work.

ya, i dont like the stars ether, but, the sky looks soo empty, oh well

Very nice first Maya piece! I really like the shape of the pattern and the grass looks almost like it has a Van Gogh influence. Keep up the good work. The trick is coming up with a background that compliments the foreground. Since the feeling is muted and soft I would go with something similar, Maybe play with Depth of Field.
