This makes me think about the psychology of the Japanese...they harbour little if no resentment towards the U.S. for the bombings...if you had flipped it the other way there would be a whole different story. Beautiful image!

It's the mushroom cloud isn't it ;-) The billowing shades look a bit like that... so it's an appropriate title, also in that the minimalist serenity of this image reminds me of some Japanese art for some reason ;-)
