Description

This is a work in progress--a self-portrait as a foliate mask or "Greenwoman"--the latest stage of "Messing with my Head", also in my gallery. I'll probably put in a nice photoshop background later. 18", unfired clay. Everytime I look at sculpture, I'm always amazed at the skill of the artist, and this is an exceptionally nice piece. Really nice work, thank you for sharing.

Excellent! As I've told you before, you have an incredible talent and this is a classic example. I would LOVE to have the ability to create something that isn't flat on canvas, paper or the PC Monitor. This is EXTREMELY impressive! Congratulations and DO keep it up!!!!!

A beautiful work that shows true dedication, patience, and love for what you do. The leaves could literally grow right in front of you. The detail and the texture is absolutely wonderful. Using that sort of media was always, to me, difficult. I always took a little too much or messed up somehow. Again, wonderful!! I want I want lol

again, you rock my world, woman! i love the angle of the head, how she (you) looks like she is gently turning towards you to whisper something. the snakey tendrils of hair are awesome. i also like how you have left that inevitable negative space and not crowded it completely with leaves. is melanie's earring in the upper right going to be added as well?
