Oscar Night held a few surprises. One most unexpected was the award for "Best Performance by a Couple in a Passionate Scene", which brought three hot and sexy couples to the screen. Beating out Vethril Talshaya/Duncan Macleod and LadyLight/Mel were the surprise choice of the Academy, Shari/Sir Bowen, for their scene in "Water Walkers" Shari, a Victoria character, was chosen for her "Dance of Silver Tassles" scene in the film. Bowen's performance was cited for his sweeping entrance and his dashing move to spirit her away from the shieks and slavehunters in the midst of her dance, and their "hot" encounter on his pirate ship. Photo by our Variety photogs was snapped just as Shari and Bowen snuck out an unguarded entrance. (Our gal in the field wasn't fooled though, as this snapshot shows) Keep your eyes on these two. More in this venue is sure to come.

Well, Eowyn posted an image earlier today, and sadly, made a valid point that is all too common here and in other 3D communities. Posting something heartfelt, and dear to you, and difficult to create, then having it dismissed, unused, or unacknowledged can be discouraging. So, here, I want to have a little fun with Shari, a gorgeous Victoria figure, and I believe, the first complete afro-american figure posted for Victoria, by Eowyn and Swanni. I hope this cheers her up a bit. It's just some fun and maybe will give her a smile. *grins* And who knows...maybe someday, one of our posettes will actually be nominated in a movie. =P

I just love to see you all cheering up my dearest friend. She needs the support, cos let's be honest, where can you get such fantastic textures for free?
