Description

The night had been surprisingly lacking in incident. I imagine that the forces that were holding us here decided to let our own imaginations scare us. But we both slept rather well under the circumstances. The next morning Kim and I decided to walk around the driftwood laden beach. Wayne and Paul were still sleeping, even the dog was not yet ready to wake. After a short jaunt we found a perfect throne made from a tree stump at the waters edge. It looked as though someone had burnt out a chair-shaped recess, ideal for sitting in. Kim hopped up onto it and of course I began snapping off photos. Our horror reprieve was quickly cut short.
