Description
Compare off ton- / cel-shade-render methods.
From left to right.
.Poser, Cartoon w line Document display and anti-aliasing.
.Poser, Toon shaders and ligths. P4-render.
.Exported (obj) imported to Cinema4D, textured and redered in Cel-render mod.
.Exported (obj) imported to Inkulator and coloured in PhotoShop.
For the last method I need more works. It will be much better.
The figure is Ruri Hoshino from the anime Nadesico. Made from Anime doll.
Morph by Khrys, Coting by Maya, Z3D and Motura. Some props made by me in C4D CE+.
Trekkie Grrrl Toon materials (modified by me).

Second from the left looks Anime enough. Others are IMO too blurred or high contrast.

Yeah. Second or third one looks the best to me. Great character build there. I haven't put gotten to the Nadesico crew yet. ^_^ Good stuffs.

The second from the right is the best of "ruri ruri" I believe. "I think she wants to be your number one!"

Really nice to see the difference between them. I think the best thing is to try and get a merging between the Cartoon w/ lines and the material cel shaders for Poser. :)

RagnarokX
Definitly a good study, this will be of help for many people i think
Weapon-X
Hmm, the fourth/last one sorta looks like it could pass of as something from the comic strip section of the Sunday edition of American newspapers. Can't really decide which of the first three looks the most best as cel-shaded, though, the first one has some noticeable shininess in the hair, which may be good or bad.
